The data behind
the meter.
We use public operational records and keep the source chain visible.
PRIMARY SOURCE
MBTA LAMP subway performance exports
Daily Parquet files contain actual and scheduled stop, travel-time and headway fields derived from GTFS and GTFS-Realtime records.

Update policy
The initial release uses the latest 30 published service dates available during the build. Future updates replace the window and preserve the dates shown on every report.
Corrections
If a publisher revises a source file, a rebuilt score may change. TransitMeter reports the underlying service window so comparisons remain auditable.
Licensing
Use of MBTA data is governed by the MassDOT Developers License Agreement. TransitMeter’s presentation and score are independent.
OFFICIAL STATION METADATA
MBTA V3 Stops API
TransitMeter resolves the parent-station identifiers in LAMP records against the MBTA's public stops endpoint. This supplies current station names and municipalities without inventing a separate station taxonomy.
